By 2050, the ICAO forecasts aviation emissions could increase by up to 700%, making aviation one of the fastest-growing sources of greenhouse gases. Problem is, right now, there are few alternatives. One solution, however, might be liquid hydrogen.

Electric batteries might be just the ticket for powering short hops in the personal flying vehicles of the next decade, but what if you want to fly further?

Dubai Police has unveiled a hydrogen-powered drone while participating at the 21st edition of the world’s leading security, safety, and fire protection trade show in Dubai, Intersec, being held at the Dubai International Trade Centre (DTCM).

At the 21st session of Intersec’s Fire, Security and Fire Safety Industries at the Dubai World Trade Center,  the Dubai Police General Command (DGPD) unveiled its Hydrogen Drone to be used for maritime surveys and security surveillance.

HES Energy Systems is delighted and proud to announce that Element One, World first hydrogen-electric manned aircraft, is featured in January's issue of Science & Vie, one of the main science magazines in Europe.

With significantly longer range than battery-powered electric aircraft, the Element One is designed for regional flights between country towns, says the concept’s developer, Singapore-based HES Energy Systems. 

Hydrogen fuel cell technology received an unexpected PR boost on Thursday when Kanye West brought up the idea of hydrogen-powered planes with President Donald Trump.

A passenger aircraft powered by hydrogen fuel and offering “zero-emissions” flight is being developed by Singapore aviation company HES Energy Systems.

The world's first regional passenger plane powered by hydrogen-electric power is set to take to the skies as early as 2025, paving the way for a new generation of zero-emissions air travel.
